Sherry Rasmus graduated from Texas Tech School of Law with her Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 1986. While in attendance, she was involved with several moot court teams in competition on a national level to then be named to the Board of Barristers. Since her licensure in 1986, Sherry has become a successful trial attorney with experience encompassing a broad practice involving both tort and commercial litigation. She has established a reputation as a formidable opponent in the courtroom and is well-known at the courthouse for her trial abilities.

Sherry’s practice includes probate matters such as drafting Wills, powers of attorney and medical directives. She also assists the surviving family members in any court proceedings necessary to finalize an estate.

Sherry is recognized as a pre-eminent lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell and rated AV. She is also recognized as a prominent trial attorney. Sherry is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, the Austin Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Sherry most recently has become a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA);  an invitation-only national organization comprised of trial lawyers dedicated to the preservation of the right to trial by jury.
